Customers include Ghirardelli, Guittard, and Blommer Chocolate companies and large commodity importer companies: Olam, General Cocoa, and ECOM.

East Bay Logistics provides supply chain management of green cocoa beans and processed cocoa butter, powder and liquor. Our 150,000 sq foot facility is in Hayward California centrally located between the chocolate companies, the railhead and port.

The facility is regularly inspected by chocolate manufacturers for adherence to pest control standards, good management practices, and cleanliness. All cocoa is fumigated prior to unloading at East Bay Logistics and regular pest control monitoring is recorded in daily log books.


East Bay Logistics coordinates the supply chain needs of large coffee roasters including Starbucks, Paragon, Volcafe USA, Atlantic Specialty, ITC , Apffels, Bay Area Coffee, Farmer Brothers and Gavina from port to their roasting facilities. In addition, we provide service to importers of green coffee from origin countries and to small specialty coffee roasters throughout California. Our goal is to receive and post inventory in 24 hours to help our customers improve their cash flow and flexibility.

Our facilities have organic certifications with separate space for organic coffee storage and have ongoing pest control management. East Bay Logistics coordinates seamless flow of product from port to roasting plants by coordinating with drayage companies, importers, customs and warehouse staff.
